Perú by Night featuring Felipe Brito Brazilian Trio

The fiery enthusiasm and relentless excellence of Felipe Brito’s musical skill are exhibited in every performance. The Brazilian Trombonist brings the energetic and rhythmically unique styles of Bossa Nova, Samba, Forró, Maracatu, Baião, Frevo, and Samba-Jazz to every event.
A testament to his passion, skill, and versatility, Felipe has collaborated with a number of national and international artists and bands including Branford Marsalis, Joe Lovano, Eddie Montalvo, Nils Landgren, Ernie Krivda, Kenny Davis, Jamey Haddad, Raul de Souza, Bobby Sanabria, Tito Rojas, Zé da Velha, Silvério Pontes, Vittor Santos, Cleveland Jazz Heritage Orchestra, and Sandália de Prata.
Felipe is currently working on his Doctoral in Musical Arts program at The University of Texas at Austin studying Trombone Performance at The Butler School of Music and Arts and Cultural Management and Entrepreneurship at The Lyndon B. Johnson (LBJ) School of Public Affairs. As an Educator, Felipe teaches at the Austin music nonprofit Austin Soundwaves and during the summers he teaches at The Caribbean Arts Camp and The Roberto Ocasio Latin Jazz Camp both in Cleveland, Ohio.
